Objective : To develop a comprehensive training plan that balances technique/mechanics, cardio/conditioning, interval training, & muscle endurance while incorporating rest and on-ice skill development.
Weekly Schedule Overview :
- Monday : Technique & Mechanics + On-Ice Development
- Tuesday : Cardio & Conditioning
- Wednesday : Off-Ice Rest (or Light Activity) + On-Ice Development
- Thursday : Interval Training
- Friday : Muscle Endurance + On-Ice Development
- Saturday : Rest or Light Activity
- Sunday : Rest or Active Recovery
